Custom Uni-ball Rollerball Pens with Your Logo
The six custom Uni-ball rollerball pens we print with your company logo: the Vision and the Vision Elite, the cushion-tip AIR, and the Micro Point Roller made with 80% post-consumer recycled electronics. A rollerball uses free-flowing liquid ink rather than the paste in a ballpoint, so it writes with almost no pressure. These are the pens for people who write for a living. Minimums from 150 pieces, one imprint color included, free mockup before production.

What a rollerball actually is
Three ink systems, three different pens. A ballpoint uses a thick oil-based paste and needs pressure. A gel uses pigment suspended in water. A rollerball uses a thin, free-flowing liquid ink fed to the ball by capillary action, which is why it glides with almost no effort and lays a line closer to a fountain pen than to a biro.
That is the whole argument for giving one away. Somebody who takes notes for two hours notices the difference in their hand, and the pen that does not tire them is the pen that stays on the desk. All six here carry uni Super Ink, so the line is still rated against water, fading and check washing.
Which rollerball to order
If the recipients fly, order the Vision Elite. Its cartridge is built to handle rapid pressure changes without flooding, and the tip is bend-resistant stainless steel with a tungsten carbide ball. That is not marketing language, it is the reason it has a following among people who write on planes. The black barrel version is the same pen in the finish that suits a single light-colored imprint.
If people share a supply cupboard, order the Vision Roller. It has a clear window down the barrel so the remaining ink is visible, the cap accent matches the ink color, and it comes in six ink colors, which makes it the one to order when several people mark up the same document in different colors.
If the feel of the pen is the point, order the AIR. Its cushion tip flexes under pressure, so the line thickens and thins with how hard you press, and it writes at any angle. It is the closest thing here to a fountain pen in something you can hand out by the hundred. The white barrel carries a color imprint most faithfully.
If sustainability is in the brief, order the Micro Point Roller. It is made with 80% post-consumer recycled electronics, which means the recycled content is in the barrel rather than in the packaging, and that is the version that survives a procurement question. At 0.5mm it also writes the finest line in this group.
Imprint area
The Vision Roller has the widest imprint here at 1.625 inches. The Micro Point Roller is 1.5 inches, the Vision Elite 1.375 inches, and the AIR is the narrowest in the whole pen range at 1.125 inches. If your logo is a symbol plus a long company name, the AIR is the one to check first: the name will have to be set small or stacked on two lines.
All six take one imprint color in one location as part of the price. We will show you the actual size on the proof before anything is printed.
When not to order a rollerball
Liquid ink is the wettest of the three systems and takes the longest to dry. It is the wrong pen for carbonless multi-part forms, which need ballpoint pressure to transfer, and it is the worst of the three for left-handed writers, who will drag a hand through a line that has not set. For either of those, order a Jetstream.
Four of the six are capped rather than retractable. A cap is a part that gets lost, and a capped liquid-ink pen carried loose in a bag without the cap seated will mark a lining. For an event where pens are handed out and used on the spot, a retractable gel serves better. Rollerballs also go through ink faster than a ballpoint, so a pen that lives in a drawer for a year is not what this range is for.
Ordering
Minimums are 150 or 200 pieces depending on the style, with price breaks shown on each product page. Production runs 3 to 8 working days after you approve the free proof, and rush service at 1 to 3 working days is available on most styles. Send vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG); we will tell you before production if a raster logo will not hold up at this imprint size.
